Brian Eno and Thom Yorke to feature in immersive audio-visual exhibition
The Berlin Institute of Sound and Music have announced a new immersive audio-visual exhibition, featuring live performances and installations from the likes of Brian Eno, Tarik Barri, Thom Yorke, Holly Herndon.
The "Hexadome" uses visual projections and an advanced multi-channel speaker configuration to deliver what Gropius Bau have described as exhibition experience like non other. The work fuses art with technology, and for the ISM this is is the first step towards their goal of "building a museum in recognition of sound, immersive arts, and electronic music".
The Hexadome is on-show at Gropius Bau, Berlin, from March 29th - April 22, 2018, after which it will travel through Europe and North America.
